The biggest event in October? Boo on Ballard! This family-friendly trick-or-treating extravaganza is free. Dress up, bring the kids, and get ready to party at this fun event in historic downtown Wylie. Boo on Ballard takes place on October 26th from 6-8pm. Is this your first “Boo”?

Every Wednesday is Wine Down Wednesday at Landon Winery in historic Downtown Wylie.
Don’t forget to get outside and take advantage of local walking trails. The Trinity Trail North is a 5-mile hike by Lake Lavon. It gets really muddy after it rains, though, so you might wait until we’ve had a few dry days in a row before tackling this trail! Also, go early in the morning to avoid the heat.
Enjoy October, Wylie!
