The Wall That Heals is Coming to Wylie

Maybe you’ve heard of The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Wylie, Texas, is on the list of a small collection of communities the wall visits each year. The Wall That Heals will be arriving in Wylie on October 28th, 2025 (escort route to be announced).

The wall will be set up on Wednesday, October 29th, and open for viewing October 30th through November 2nd. The Wall is a three-quarter-scale replica of the original memorial, and gives people in the metroplex who may not be able to travel to D.C. an opportunity to experience the famous memorial.

The opening ceremony will take place at 10 am on October 30th. The Wall That Heals will be available for viewing at Founders Park.

Pumpkin Toss at In-Sync Exotics

When’s the last time you saw a big cat (not just any cat, either…we’re talking lions and tigers here!) playing with a pumpkin? If the answer is never, it’s time to plan a trip to the Fall Festival and Pumpkin Toss. Donated pumpkins become enrichment for the many large, exotic cats that call In-Sync home.

And while watching pumas play with pumpkins is pretty neat, the fun doesn’t stop there. Stick around for music, face painting, games, vendors, and even a bounce house. Come hungry and grab a hot dog, then enter the raffle for a chance to win a prize!
