Honor and Remember – 25th Anniversary Ceremony

We invite you to join us at Wylie Fire Rescue – Fire Station #4 as we commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honor all those who lost their lives that day.

As we mark 25 years since the attacks, we will remember the 343 firefighters, 8 FDNY EMS personnel, 72 law enforcement officers, and thousands of military personnel and civilians who lost their lives. We will honor the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize the profound tragedy September 11 was for our nation – a day that forever changed our country and countless families.

If you are unable to make the ceremony, take a moment to remember and reflect on the events of 9/11. Stop by Station #4, 3200 McMillen Drive, and visit “Never Forget,” a sculpture by Terrence Martin that contains actual pieces from the World Trade Center and the names of first responders who died while responding to the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
