It’s almost time for Taste of Wylie! This popular event is a great chance to sample what local restaurants have to offer while supporting a good cause. Today we’re answering frequently asked questions about this foodie-friendly event that takes place every year at Olde City Park in historic downtown Wylie, Texas.

What is Taste of Wylie?
Taste of Wylie started around 20 years ago. Many restaurants were closed on Mondays, and used this “day off” to create an event that would benefit local food pantries. Two decades letter, restaurants from all over Wylie and surrounding areas are still coming together with the same intent…to bring you samples of their most popular food and raise money for food pantries in our community.
This event is a great way to sample lots of food, from lots of restaurants and food trucks (including some new restaurants that haven’t opened yet!), all in one place and for one low price.
