Taste of Wylie
Monday, May 1, Olde City Park
Wylie has a lot of great food! For the price of admission, you can come try all sorts of delicious food from Wylie restaurants.
Wylie Pedal Car Race
Sunday, May 7th, 1-5pm. Downtown Wylie
The Annual 500 Pedal Car Race will be back for its 19th running! This popular event is a hit with the pre-schoolers. It’s free and open to all kids ages 3 & 4.
Wylie Women’s Conference
Friday, June 9th, Time and Location TBD
Connect with local women at this inspiring and educational conference hosted by the Wylie Chamber of Commerce.
Bluegrass on Ballard
Saturday, June 24th, 10AM, Olde City Park and Downtown Wylie
Come listen to bluegrass bands and shop from local artisans and vendors at the annual Bluegrass on Ballard celebration. There’s also a big car show!
Wylie Championship Rodeo

The Wylie Championship Rodeo comes back to town in September.
National Night Out for Texas
Tuesday, October 3rd, Olde City Park
Meet your neighbors and enjoy the beginning of fall at National Night Out.
Boo on Ballard
Thursday, October 26th, 6PM, Downtown Wylie
Dress up and bring the whole family for this free trick-or-treating event downtown! The local businesses really bring out the candy for this fun event (and there are also food trucks and lots of extra activities in Olde City Park).
Wylie Entrepreneur’s Exp
Tuesday, November 14th, Time and Location TBD
If you’re an entrepreneur or want to be an entrepreneur, this learning and networking event is a great opportunity to connect with local business owners and experts. It’s followed by a fun networking event.
Wylie Arts Festival
Saturday, December 2nd, The Cross Church and Downtown Wylie
Get ready to finish that Christmas shopping. The Wylie Arts Festival showcases vendors from all over North Texas. There will also be food trucks and activities for the whole family.
Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting
Sunday. December 3rd. Downtown Wylie and Olde City Park
Come to the parade and stay for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony after!
