Like history? Check out the School Days in Wylie: Then and Now exhibit at The Welcome Center at Brown House. The exhibit delves into the history of Wylie ISD, the Birmingham Trust’s legacy of giving, and other dedicated community members who exemplified The Wylie Way. This exhibit runs all of August.

It’s almost Rodeo time! The 30th Wylie Championship Rodeo will take place on September 8th and 9th. Get your tickets now!

Don’t forget to get outside and take advantage of local walking trails. The Trinity Trail North is a 5-mile hike by Lake Lavon. It gets really muddy after it rains, though, so you might wait until we’ve had a few dry days in a row before tackling this trail! Also, go early in the morning to avoid the heat.
