Welcome to March! Here’s a collection of March events in Wylie, Texas. We will add new events to it as they pop up.

The Wylie Acting Group presents Seussical Jr. in early March. Bring the whole to this fun play and support local theatre. The shows take place Friday, March 3, 2023 @ 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023 @ 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023 @ 7:00 pm, and Sunday, March 5, 2023 @ 2:30 pm. Get tickets here.

You only have until March 4th to view Burl Washington Fine Arts nationally-renowned works featuring African American culture and history. View them in the Smith Public Library lobby. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Wylie LOVE Scavenger Hunt is on March 3rd from 10am – 5pm. This is a great activity for a fun date. Enjoy your city scavenger hunt with fun digital activities along the way! The event kicks off at Smith Public Library. Find all the details here.

It’s Spring Break for Wylie ISD! Spring Break is March 6 – 10.

In-Sync Exotics will be open during the Wylie ISD spring break week from 11-5pm. You can find out more information and get tickets here.

St Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! Join The Blend for a Painting with the Blend Party and enjoy a fun night of painting, mingling and shopping with complimentary cocktails & appetizers on March 4th at 7pm. Get tickets here.

The Smith Public Library is hosting an Origami for Adults class. This class is on March 21st at 5:30pm and it’s free! You can register here.

The library is busy this month! They have a whole program of free events for the kids taking place during Spring Break. Bring the kids on March 9th at 3pm to watch some BMX riders! You can see the full schedule of events here.

Don’t forget to get outside and take advantage of local walking trails as the weather warms up! The Trinity Trail North is a 5-mile hike by Lake Lavon. It gets really muddy after it rains, though, so you might wait until we’ve had a few dry days in a row before tackling this trail!
