Located in historic downtown Wylie, Juzt Jaz Boutique is a popular spot with locals for cute baby and kids clothing as well as fun events throughout the year. Juzt JAZ has grown from a tiny booth in a Rockwall store in 2019 to its current location, a beautiful and busy shop on the corner of Ballard and Marble (if you know where the old well is downtown, you know where to find Juzt Jaz – they are located right next to it!).
Owned by local Wylie resident, Mari Gutierrez, Juzt JAZ Boutique has one-of-a-kind, on trend outfits for kids preemie through tween – as well as fun stuff for mom and dad! Mari manages to maintain that beautiful boutique vibe and experience while also keeping their items affordable, making for a super fun shopping experience.
Mari says, “I am thankful and grateful that I’m able to follow my dream. Owning a boutique was something I’ve wanted for quite some time. I worked in the corporate world and a private owned business since I was 16. I started Juzt JAZ Boutique in a small booth in 2019 inside the Rustic Warehouse in Rockwall. In March of 2021 a small space opened up inside a historic home in downtown Wylie that had other businesses as well. In November of 2021 I moved into a beautiful space in the center of historic downtown Wylie. A dream come true. I’ve loved every moment of owning my Boutique and strive to continue to grow the business.”
Doing Business in Wylie
When asked what she loves best about doing business in Wylie, she says, “Wylie is a close knit community. Everyone has always been so kind and supportive of my business and family. I hope to continue doing business in Wylie for years to come. I love the town, people, and community.”
Mari does more with her boutique than just sell clothes. She offers all kinds of events throughout the year, like pictures with Santa in December and pictures with the Easter Bunny in April.
When asked what the future looks like for Juzt JAZ, she says, “I strive to expand and carry different lines of products that parents love for their kiddos. Unique, boutique style, comfortable products.”
