Hippity Hop Downtown Wylie
Saturday, April 5, 2025, 12 pm – 4 pm, downtown Wylie
Hop on downtown to Ballard to participate in Hippity Hop! Visit local shops for complimentary drinks and special deals.
Downtown Wylie Spring Sip and Shop by Landon Winery
Saturday, May 3, 2025, 12 pm – 5 pm
Reserve your tickets now to this downtown event hosted by Landon Winery. Enjoy an afternoon of great wine, great deals, and local shopping.
Wylie Pedal Car Race
Sunday, May 4th, 2025, 1 pm – 4 pm. downtown Wylie
The Annual 500 Pedal Car Race will be back for its 21st running! This popular event is a hit with the pre-schoolers. This free event is open to all kids ages 3 & 4, but be sure to register first to reserve a spot.
Taste of Wylie
Monday, May 5, 2025, 11 am – 1 pm, Olde City Park
Wylie has a lot of great food! For the price of admission, you can come try all sorts of delicious food from Wylie restaurants. This event supports local food pantries.

Summer Kick-Off at Smith Public Library

Bluegrass on Ballard
Saturday, May 31st, 10 am – 9 pm, Olde City Park and downtown Wylie
Come listen to bluegrass bands and shop from local artisans and vendors at the annual Bluegrass on Ballard celebration. There’s also a big car show!

Boo on Ballard
Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, 6 pm – 8 pm, downtown Wylie
Dress up and bring the whole family for this free trick-or-treating event downtown! The local businesses really bring out the candy for this fun event (and there are also food trucks and lots of extra activities in Olde City Park).

The Wall that Heals

The Wall That Heals exhibit features a 3/4 scale replica of The Wall and a mobile education center designed to travel to communities throughout the country. Stay tuned for more information.
Wylie Arts Festival
Saturday, December 6th, 2025, 9 am – 4 pm, The Cross Church and downtown Wylie
Get ready to finish that Christmas shopping. The Wylie Arts Festival showcases vendors from all over North Texas. There will also be food trucks and activities for the whole family.
Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting
